1.4  SMS Communications

By providing your phone number and checking the SMS consent box on the membership waiver, you consent to receive automated text messages from SPAR Houston. These messages may include:

•       Membership activation and waiver confirmation

•       Token purchase receipts and balance updates

•       Class booking confirmations and QR check-in tickets

•       Class reminders sent 2 hours before your scheduled class

•       Token expiry alerts and low balance notifications

•       Milestone rewards and promotional offers (if opted in)

1.5  Photo and Video

If you consent to our Photo/Video Release during the waiver signing process, SPAR Houston may use photographs or videos taken of you at the gym for promotional purposes including social media, marketing materials, and the gym website. This consent is optional and you may decline without affecting your membership. Your consent status is recorded on your membership record.

Profile photos or selfies uploaded voluntarily during onboarding are stored on your contact record and used solely for member identification purposes by SPAR Houston staff. They are not shared publicly without your explicit consent.

1.6  Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share your information with:

•       Stripe — for secure payment processing

•       GoHighLevel (GHL) — our CRM and membership management platform

•       US mobile carriers — as required for A2P 10DLC SMS compliance

•       Law enforcement or regulatory authorities — when required by law

All third-party service providers are required to handle your data securely and in accordance with applicable law.

1.7  Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your membership is active and for a reasonable period thereafter for legal and business purposes. Token purchase records and signed waivers are retained for a minimum of 7 years in accordance with Texas business record requirements. You may request deletion of your personal data by contacting us directly, subject to any legal retention obligations.
